Job Desciption: Behavioral Health Clinician for East Milton Pediatrics
East Milton Pediatric, a small, friendly pediatric practice, is seeking cadidates for an exciting oppotunity in Pediatric Behavioral Health Integration. Scheduled hours are nogotiable.
Successful candidates will join our clinical staff of 5 primary care pediatricians and 1 physician's assistant. They will enable us to deliver fully-integrated behavioral health services within the practice. Working within the patient-centered medical home, the behavioral health services provider will conduct behavioral health screenings and diagnostic evaulations, deliver evidence-based treatment to children and families, and provide consultative support to medical staff. Comprehensive clinical and integration support is provided through The Pediatric Physician's Organization at Children's (PPOC), a preferred Boston Children's Hospital Community of Care Member.
A master's degree in social work or counseling is required, and candidates must be licensed for independent practice in Massachussets. A minimun of two years clinical expierence working with children is requiered. Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving therapy is highly desirable. Candidates should have a proven record of collaborative service delivery, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the flexibilty to work in a sometimes-hectic-but-always-supportive pediatric practice.
